Learning from good team experiences

This week I’ve been having lots of conversations about “collaboration” – a critical team capability that is often easier said than done.

But when a team does collaborate well, it’s a GREAT experience!

We’ve all probably had both “good” and “bad” team experiences. The goal is to create more “good team” experiences.

Try this reflection exercise:

  1. Think about your best experience on a team that was collaborative AND effective.
  2. How did you feel when working with that team?
  3. What conditions enabled that team to collaborate so effectively?
  4. What action could you take this week to help recreate those conditions in your current teams?

If you’d like assistance improving the quality of communication and collaboration in one of your teams, let’s chat. If I’m not a good fit for your team, I’m happy to refer you to one of my strategic partners who would be a better match.

Let’s all start having better team experiences!
